At Relay Station, fresh produce and ingredients come directly from our farm — Family Farms located just down the road from relay station. From the garden rows to the restaurant kitchen, every vegetable is grown, picked, and delivered by hand. It’s our way of ensuring every bite is as fresh as it gets.
Since 1976, the Relay Station has been a place where Texas tradition meets farm-to-table flavor. What began as a small diner has grown into a family-owned landmark, known across the state for hearty meals, fresh produce from Family Farms, and the legendary 85oz Sirloin Challenge.
For nearly five decades, we’ve stayed true to what matters most: serving honest food that brings people together. Every steak is hand-cut and grilled to perfection, every side is crafted with care, and every plate tells the story of where it came from.

every dish we serve starts fresh in our kitchen — hand-cut, hand-crafted, and made from scratch. From dough to vegetables, we prepare everything in-house using ingredients grown right at our Family's Farm (Family Farms). It’s honest food, made the old-fashioned way — with care, quality, and Texas pride.

Finish the entire steak with 2 sides, within 75 minutes and the entire meal is free. If you don't finish, you pay the menu price for the steak.
Time limit: 75 minutes (times from when the steak is placed in front of the challenger).
Family Style: If you prefer to share, order the 85oz Family Style experience (great for groups-price will vary upon group size)
